NBASLH recognizes a critical deficit in the number of Black professionals holding research doctoral degrees in our field and subsequently teaching and conducting research at the university level.
NBASLH is doing its part to provide an avenue to connect those considering a research doctoral degree to research doctoral programs.

The NBASLH Virtual Doctoral School Fair is a virtual event where prospective research doctoral students will receive an overview of how to select and
apply to research doctoral programs in CSD followed by a general question and answer segment.
Prospective research doctoral students will also have dedicated time to engage with specific program representatives of their choosing.
The event is free to all interested students (NBASLH student members and non-student members).
Registration is required. Zoom login information will only be provided to registered attendees.
NBASLH members will have the opportunity submit questions in advance of the doctoral fair to be addressed during the general question and answer segment.
