NBASLH's Annual Convention is the largest professional and educational gathering for African American audiologists, speech-language pathologists, researchers, academicians, and students from across the country and the Caribbean.

Are you a part of a university? Approximately 50% of NBASLH's membership are students in undergraduate and graduate levels. The NBASLH convention is very student-friendly. The organization supports students from every level collegiately within Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD). At each convention, four highlighted sessions are specifically catered to the student population: the student chat, the student-mentor luncheon, the Praxis bowl, and the National Speech-Language Pathology Exam Review Course. The highlighted sessions provide opportunities for students to advance, connect and network with peers and professionals from across the board. NBASLH is now in the works of creating a student-mentorship program for students to build relationships with professionals across the CSD discipline.
