National Black Association
for Speech-Language and Hearing

The symbol used in the NBASLH's trade mark is from the country of Zaire (now the Democratic Republic of Congo).  It means
  :...
reach out with the echo of understanding and speak for all to hear"

NBASLH Convention
2012 Call for Volunteers

The NBASLH Convention would not be able to function without the generous support of our many volunteers. If you have volunteered in the past, we hope we can count on you again. We always welcome new volunteers too! No experience is necessary.

Volunteering is a great way to meet working professionals within your field, make business contacts and learn more about NBASLH.  There are several ways to get involved with plenty to be gained professionally and personally, so consider which opportunity best suits your talents and interests.

In return for your valuable time, NBASLH will:
Acknowledge your volunteerism in the NBASLH Convention On-Site Program, the NBASLH Resound))) and a letter of recognition for placement in your academic file. Simply check any or all positions for which you are willing to volunteer.
