Kudos to the following Southern California Affiliate
members Khalilah Monques and Courtney Jones who recently graduated with
their Master’s Degrees from California State University, Long Beach.
This was the first graduating class from this new program.

To celebrate Black History Month, the Southern
California Affiliate hosted their annual Essay and Oratorical
Competition. This year’s theme was The New Voices of
African-Americans. Eight students were presented awards for
their essays, and three students were presented awards for their
oratorical presentation. |
